    Derived from the Greek-Latin term “anagoge”, meaning to guide or uplift, Anago Cleaning Systems was founded by David Povlitz who established our company after owning a cleaning business for over 15 years in Detroit, Michigan.

    Realizing the benefits of the recession-resistant commercial cleaning industry, Povlitz began our franchise organization in South Florida by offering individuals the chance for business ownership through Anago Cleaning Systems’ janitorial franchises. By 1995, the first Master Franchise was sold, and continued growth has led Anago Cleaning Systems to achieve over 30 master franchise offices with over 2,000 janitorial franchises across the nation.
