Scholarship Program
Anago Cleaning Systems’ commitment to its unit franchisees goes to the next level, with the creation of the Anago Gold Star Scholarships. For the 2007-2008 academic years, and every year thereafter, Anago Cleaning Systems will offer four $1,000 academic scholarships to children of its unit franchisees, who are beginning their freshman year at an accredited college or university in the United States.
The requirements are as follows:
- The unit franchise owner must be in good standing with the local Anago office.
- The applicant must be a son or daughter of the unit franchise owner, and must be approved and nominated by the local Anago office, in writing.
- The nominee must be a recent high school graduate, who will be entering freshman year at an accredited college or university for the fall 2008 semester.
The following items must be sent in a packet to the Anago Cleaning Systems Corporate Office, by May 1, 2008:
- A nomination letter from the local Anago office,
- An official copy of the applicant’s final high school transcript, showing date of graduation.
- A one-paged typed resume, including address and phone number for applicant.
- A 500-word double-spaced typed essay, written by the applicant, entitled “My Future Plans”.
The process is as follows:
- The Anago Cleaning Systems Scholarship Committee will review the documents of all applicants.
- A telephone interview may be conducted with each applicant.
- Once the winners have been selected, they will be notified in writing.
- The scholarship funds will be sent to the student’s account at the college or university they will be attending for fall 2008 semester. It is the responsibility of the winners to provide Anago Cleaning Systems with this information.
